From the President,

          To all players and supporters of the Baranduda Rangers Cricket Club (BRCC), a big thank you for your efforts in season 2011/2012.  The season began with high hopes for the year and looked great in so many ways that it’s almost hard to believe what has been achieved!!!

        This year saw the realisation of dreams as we celebrated the opening of our very own Pavilion at Baranduda Reserve, so we will all be watching with interest as the ‘Home of the Baranduda Rangers Cricket Club develops!!!

       Two of our three senior sides played finals cricket with A Grade missing out by the smallest of margins. B Grade had a tall order against the minor premiers with a days play washed out in the semi-final, but still gave their best shot. C Grade were unlucky not to go all the way for another premiership flag, falling short in the Grand Final. 

     Again, with more positive steps taken by the new Committee steps are now in place for recruitment of players to BRCC as the club has been strengthened by a superb performance this year.

    A ‘changing of the guard’ as far as the junior sides are concerned has developed our younger guys and girls into capable cricketers. Some impressive individual and team results were achieved this year. Special thanks goes to the Junior committee, Coaches and parents that put their hand up to assist in our junior development.   

    In passing on the torch to the new committee, I would like to thank all members of the BRCC for their support over the past three years as President. To the committee members that have served under my reign, a great effort by all concerned in getting the club to where we are now with a clubhouse and a stronger profile within Cricket Albury Wodonga.

   The 2012/2013 season will continue to see the rewards of hard work at all levels, and coupled with a positive attitude and strong work ethic, I'm sure the new committee will ensure that the BRCC continues to succeed. Success breeds success!!!
